Welcome to our NEW online home .....

The Bloordale Middle School Parent Council now has our own spot on the web! Many people don't know a lot about us and many others have been wondering if we even exist! Yes we do, and now you can find out about everything we are doing and how everyone in our Bloordale family can take part!

If you have not yet come out to one of our monthly meetings, please feel free to attend any that are convenient to you. If you are unable to come out but want your voice heard, we want to still hear it! You can connect with us anytime via email at Bloordaleparents@gmail.com

If you are a parent or a guardian of a Bloordale student you need to keep up on what is going on and we want this space to be your new go-to! Already so much is being planned for this year's Fun Fair and this site will keep you in the know (maybe even more than the kids)!

We are re-building our community and it takes time just like a website, which is what you will see overtime on this site. So bookmark this site or follow it so that you can keep up-to-date on what we are doing and then when your kids say nothing is new at school, you can correct them!

Even at that time many Canadians did not know about the work being done and only as the discoveries that were made this summer and those that continue to be made has these calls come back to light. Our kids are learning in the classroom; as parents and caregivers we have a responsibility to learn and understand and act too! Today take a few minutes to begin reading the Calls To Action and tomorrow I will have a

But while we are able to one day tell stories of this time, many are still trying to come to terms with this new way of life. It is not easy and for many it is down right scary, if you need any help at all, you can reach out to your extended Bloordale family at anytime :) The TDSB has so many links at your finger tips to help you get started in finding help where you need it; from online learning to mental health, the website has got you many starting points. From one parent to another, you know your kids and if you can see that they are having trouble adjusting to the new school norms, reach out to your child's teacher; we are all in this together and this is new and unprecedented for all of us :) Looking for some online resources, the TDSB website may have what you need. To help you navigate, here are some specific links on the TDSB Website:
