Craft Corner Donations


Crafty Corner Station Donation

Kindness Rock Painting, Handmade Bookmarks, Mindful Colouring, and more .... but we need the kindness of some donations to make these activities a reality at the Fun Fair!


When we say we will have something for everyone at this year’s Fair, we mean it! New this year is the Craft Corner where we will have projects for artists and crafters of all ages and levels! But we need your help, we are accepting donations of colourful sharpies and paint pens in new or almost new condition and scrapbook paper in any design. Also helpful would be yarn, ribbon, and crayons.

If you can help please bring items to the school office or email bloordaleparents@gmail.com to make arrangements if you are able to help out in larger quantities.

This week, Thursday to be exact, our country recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.   This week each day on the blog we will provide resources you and your family can use to better understand what this day means and why it is needed. Not The Year We Expected .....

Well, what a year 2020 is turning out to be, one we will never forget and one that our kids will tell tales of to future generations. But while we are able to one day tell stories of this time, many are still trying to come to terms with this new way of life. It is not easy and for many it is down right scary, if you need any help at all, you can reach out to your extended Bloordale family at anytime :) The TDSB has so many links at your finger tips to help you get started in finding help where you need it; from online learning to mental health, the website has got you many starting points. From one parent to another, you know your kids and if you can see that they are having trouble adjusting to the new school norms, reach out to your child's teacher; we are all in this together and this is new and unprecedented for all of us :) Looking for some online resources, the TDSB website may have what you need.
