Craft Corner Donations


Crafty Corner Station Donation

Kindness Rock Painting, Handmade Bookmarks, Mindful Colouring, and more .... but we need the kindness of some donations to make these activities a reality at the Fun Fair!


When we say we will have something for everyone at this year’s Fair, we mean it! New this year is the Craft Corner where we will have projects for artists and crafters of all ages and levels! But we need your help, we are accepting donations of colourful sharpies and paint pens in new or almost new condition and scrapbook paper in any design. Also helpful would be yarn, ribbon, and crayons.

If you can help please bring items to the school office or email bloordaleparents@gmail.com to make arrangements if you are able to help out in larger quantities.

Crosswalk at Renforth and Toledo .... lets make it a reality

On November 13 at 6:30 the Eatonville Parent Council will be holding a Traffic Panel Meeting with special guests from the City of Toronto, Traffic Services Department; as well as our local Councillor, Deputy Mayor Stephen Holyday. One of the issues on the agenda will be the need for a crosswalk on Renforth Drive, closer to Toledo. As a lead up to this meeting I have created a petition for all in our area who recognize the need for this important safety infastructure which is long overdue. Did you know that our school turns 60 in 2020? The roads around us have changed a lot since Bloordale opened in 1960, wouldn't it be nice if this was the year we could give the gift of safety for all our current and future Bloordale students! We have a plaque for 50 years on a rock outside our front door, perhaps a plaque near a new crosswalk this time, sounds like a nice idea don't you think! Rain or Shine ... Just 2 More Sleeps

Fun Fair is now under 48 hours away and while the forecast isn't perfect, we are ready for anything! In case you are wondering, if it rains, the only thing that changes is the Fair will take place in the school, INFLATABLES and all!  Remember, the Fun Fair is not every year and so you need to make the most of the night! Here are some tips to make sure you do not miss anything! 1. When you arrive follow the signs to pick up anything you have pre-paid (dinner combos, wristbands, punch cards). If you have not yet made purchases then you can do so at this time too.  Wrist Bands - $25 Punch Card - 25 punches for $20 OR 10 punches for $10  Dinner combos $7 Due to demand we will be able to sell dinner combos on the night of the event; first come first served, so order early before they run out! 2. If you can, please consider walking to the Fair! We have a very small parking lot at the best of times and for the night it will be off limits except for those who are...
