Crosswalk at Renforth and Toledo .... lets make it a reality

On November 13 at 6:30 the Eatonville Parent Council will be holding a Traffic Panel Meeting with special guests from the City of Toronto, Traffic Services Department; as well as our local Councillor, Deputy Mayor Stephen Holyday.

One of the issues on the agenda will be the need for a crosswalk on Renforth Drive, closer to Toledo.

As a lead up to this meeting I have created a petition for all in our area who recognize the need for this important safety infastructure which is long overdue.

Did you know that our school turns 60 in 2020?

The roads around us have changed a lot since Bloordale opened in 1960, wouldn't it be nice if this was the year we could give the gift of safety for all our current and future Bloordale students!

We have a plaque for 50 years on a rock outside our front door, perhaps a plaque near a new crosswalk this time, sounds like a nice idea don't you think!
