What a great night the Fun Fair turned out to be. Yes the rain came but all that meant was a bit of relocating behind the scenes! So many came out and we really had a great community event. A HUGE THANK YOU to our Sponsors with a great big You helped us reach our goal to provide much needed Tech for our students!!! Now it is time for some of us to take a bit of a break but we will see you right back here on this blog later this summer!

Fun Fair is now under 48 hours away and while the forecast isn't perfect, we are ready for anything! In case you are wondering, if it rains, the only thing that changes is the Fair will take place in the school, INFLATABLES and all!  Remember, the Fun Fair is not every year and so you need to make the most of the night! Here are some tips to make sure you do not miss anything! 1. When you arrive follow the signs to pick up anything you have pre-paid (dinner combos, wristbands, punch cards). If you have not yet made purchases then you can do so at this time too.  Wrist Bands - $25 Punch Card - 25 punches for $20 OR 10 punches for $10  Dinner combos $7 Due to demand we will be able to sell dinner combos on the night of the event; first come first served, so order early before they run out! 2. Crafty Corner Station Donation Kindness Rock Painting, Handmade Bookmarks, Mindful Colouring, and more .... but we need the kindness of some donations to make these activities a reality at the Fun Fair! When we say we will have something for everyone at this year’s Fair, we mean it! New this year is the Craft Corner where we will have projects for artists and crafters of all ages and levels! But we need your help, we are accepting donations  of colourful sharpies and paint pens in new or almost new condition and scrapbook paper in any design. Also helpful would be yarn, ribbon, and crayons. If you can help please bring items to the school office or email bloordaleparents@gmail.com to make arrangements if you are able to help out in larger quantities. Thank you for your help :) 

Last week, pre-sales started for both dinner combos, wristbands, and ticket punch cards! The last day to order dinner combo's will be Monday June 3 at noon.  New this week is that we will have a table set up for cash sales at lunch tomorrow and Friday (May 23 and 24).  So if your family would like to purchase in cash (exact change please), this is a great opportunity to do so! Paper forms are going home with kids but you can also print them off our website.
